For those of you who expected The Wily Brown Dog site to be about dogs, this page is for you.
I’m a fan of these curly brown four-legged creatures, as well as of palomino horses. They’ve brought great joy to my life since I was young.
The Irish Water Spaniel is not a dog for everyone but I adore them. They are smart and I have found mine to be especially benevolent and forgiving of my human characteristics. In our training and competition together, I am their biggest impediment’ they succeed in spite of me, not because of me, in large part.
They are my heart, soul, joy, and laughter. They make every single day of my life fuller.
As for the yellow horses, they are simply a passion. While I do not currently have one living with me, I will once again in my life. Their deep gold coat reflects sunshine as if it were coming from within. The stress-relieving value of a quiet ride with the muscle and rhythm of a smooth-gaited horse has been a staple in my life. The quiet nicker of acknowledgement from my horse warms my whole being.
