There are senses that, in each of us, are heightened. This could be because of limitations of another sense, like the enhanced ability to hear of someone without sight, or simply a more highly developed ability and trust of one sense over another.

You know stuff. Everyone does. And we do not all know the same stuff in the same way.

I once dealt with a ‘computer person’ who couldn’t balance her checkbook but could open any software application and know within minutes how it operated and its basis. She had a sense of how it was put together and what made it tick that was almost intuitive. It was like her brain and the computer logic operated in the same way, similar to the really great car mechanics of the last century who could put their hands on a mechanical problem just by listening to an engine.
