The impetus for The Wily Brown Dog is my belief that I have something to give this worked in which I have lied, laughed, cried, struggled, and excelled for more than 60 years. I’ve lived more than I will live. While I’m painfully aware that I am a flawed human being, I also believe that I’m bright and intuitive and have learned some things that may be useful to share.

I have been given good advice in the past myself and many times chose to ignore it because I knew better or it was beyond what I could d. I know we accept some things and reject others.

I’m simply putting this information out for consideration should it resonate with you or provide some help where none has existed before.

The intent is that you become empowered because you are a valuable human being and know stuff. This project aims to validate that and allow you to take ownership of your life and your talents.

For me, the symbolism of TWBD is my beloved dogs and their strong, silly, and savvy nature. They just know stuff some would expect to be beyond the abilities of a dog.

This photo represents one aspect of the savvy sense that I believe each of us possesses, even if only in small ways. The older dog, left outside while I went in to answer a ringing phone, understands that the first sign that the closed door may open is the movement of the door knob. He patiently watches for that movement. The young puppy, on the other hand, throws himself against the door pleading for my return. While subtle, it is an image that makes me smile by its profoundness.
